FamilyFund. A fundraising theme that asks once, and asks well.
FamilyFund started as a bespoke build for a family-support charity and became our most-installed release. One donation path, real campaign numbers on every template, and an editor experience a volunteer can run.

The brief
Raise more money and stop looking like a charity website. The existing site had eleven calls to action above the fold and a donation flow that lost 62% of visitors on the first step.
What we did
We cut the homepage to one ask, built a campaign-progress custom post type so live totals appear on every template from a single edit, and rebuilt the whole thing as a block theme so the charity's two part-time editors could publish without us.
The design system
A warm sand and moss palette, a single variable serif for headings, and photography rules that put people before buildings. Five semantic colour slots — no 'Accent 7'.
The outcome
Donations up 31% quarter on quarter, average gift up 9%, and support requests to us down to roughly one a month after the first six weeks.
“Our trustees expected a redesign. What we got was a system two part-time staff can run without ever emailing a developer.”
