About Us

ThemesCraft is a two-person studio with a long bench of collaborators. We design and develop WordPress themes for people who care about typography, page weight, and whether the thing still works in five years.

A theme shop, not a theme farm

We've never wanted a catalogue of a hundred themes. Nine is plenty. Each one gets a real design brief, a real content model, and a maintenance commitment that doesn't quietly expire after twelve months.

Everything we release is built on the standard WordPress block editor. No bundled page builder, no proprietary shortcodes, no lock-in. If you ever switch away from one of our themes, your content comes with you.

What we believe

• Performance is a design decision, not an optimisation phase.
• Accessibility is not a plugin. It's the markup.
• A theme should have opinions — and let you override every one of them.
• Documentation is part of the product.
• GPL, always. It's why WordPress works.

The best compliment we get is that a site built on one of our themes doesn't look like it was built on a theme.

How we work with clients

Alongside our own themes we take on a handful of bespoke projects a year — usually a brand that has outgrown an off-the-shelf theme and needs a block-native system their editors actually enjoy using. That work is documented over on our process page.
